UReason offers the alarm reporting solution “OASYS-AM reporting”, which provides all the vital alarm reports that help you analyse and improve your alarm system. Alarm reports are available within a web environment and can easily be organised or filtered as you like. Typical examples of alarm reports are alarm rate per period, most-frequent alarms, most-frequent alarms by type (e.g. IOBAD or Discrepancy), most-frequent fleeting alarms, and long-standing alarms.
Function-related reports
OASYS-AM reporting has the capability to create specific reports for your maintenance department. This allows maintenance people to review and asses maintenance-related alarms at an early stage. Other filter options include specific reports for process control related issues (e.g. control loops in manual mode or frequently changing set points), or reports used to get an overview of all alarms that are disabled or inhibited.
Alarm reports via email
The reporting solution provides functionality to automatically generate and distribute combinations of reports. These reports can be distributed to a group of people via email on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule. During alarm improvement team meetings, the alarm reports can be used to review bad actors and discuss the required changes to the alarm system.
