The Visualisation Module is a new add-in which provides users with a suite of tools to analyzer, organise, filter, and visualizer batches of alarms or events, and the relationships between them.
Overview
Insatiable data is passed to the module, along with a simple description of the data hierarchy. For example, alarms might come from a specific component of a particular machine in a certain room. The module analyses batches of incoming data, and looks for correlations, using a customisable relationship processor to look for combinations of alarms that often appear close together in time. From this, we can build tables, trees and networks of alarms and events, where the edges correspond to links between alarms. These structures can then be visualised, giving the user a new way of looking at data.

As part of the visualisation process, users can filter data, and apply colour schemes and visual options. This allows the user to focus on particular categories of alarms (e.g. by priority or location), or on specific periods of time.
The Visualisation module for the first time allows users to see alarms in context, to understand how they link with and relate to other alarms.
