Object Models are a collection of instances of objects that represent real assets They contain properties that are values of their real life equivalent such as pressure, volume, flow, temperature etc. Properties of objects can be static or dynamic mapped to points in external sources or can be values calculated in APM.
Unlike automatic object creation, they are created manually from the class definitions.
When creating an Object Model it is sometimes useful to create relations between objects. For instance, a machine such as a CNC mill would be made up of several components such as an X motor, Y motor, Z motor and Spindle motor.
This tutorial will demonstrate how to create an Object Model and populate it with objects.
Complex Models can be created with their related components.
